24. Network Growth and Decentralization Strategy

⚠ PHASE 0 DISCLOSURE: FEDERATED TRUST MODEL

24.1 Genesis Configuration

⚠ PHASE 0 DISCLOSURE, FEDERATED TRUST MODEL

Phase 0 (Genesis) operates under a federated trust model with 10-12 founder-controlled keeper nodes. This is NOT a decentralized phase. The Nakamoto Coefficient during genesis is 4 (t=3 of 12), which is lower than all mature oracle protocols. Full permissionless decentralization begins at Phase 2. The externally-sourced entropy inputs (Sources 1-12) remain independent of the genesis keeper set; only the sources live at the current phase contribute (see Section 26). The three protocol-native sources (13-15) are generated by the genesis keeper set itself and are NOT independent of it at this phase (see the Sources 13-15 disclosure in Section 3.3). The federated model therefore affects node-level operations (which keepers sign, event ordering) and the protocol-native entropy inputs; the external entropy inputs remain outside founder control.

  • 10+ genesis keeper nodes across 5 geographic regions

  • Chains: Base, OP, ARB, Solana, TON, Cardano, Sui

24.3 Mobile Light Nodes

Functions:

  • Event detection/broadcast (2% fee share)

  • Gossip relay (2% fee share)

  • Commit-reveal entropy (1% fee share)

Earnings: 2–5% of base fee per event (~$20–$50/month at 1,000 events/day)

Design:

  • <2% battery/day

  • 1–5 MB/day bandwidth

  • No staking required
